Memories-

Our behaviors, habits, reactions, and emotional states are a result of the links that our brain has to previous memories.
It is simple.
Everything you hear, see, feel, smell and imagine is associated with something in your brain and when you see it, your brain does a search for meaning.

So right now, I am looking at a plain white box.
My brain had to associate the visual image to that of a box, with the name box, with the color of brown, and seek out other information.
It happens fast. You rarely notice it.

Memories control our day to day experiences and affect how we respond to just about everything.

Look around the room you are in right now.

Pause as you look at each item in the room.

As you reflect on that item, take a breath.

What do you feel?
What is your first thought?
What is the next thought?
If you let your mind take another step further, what have you internalized as a result of seeing that item?
